Kampala Pursues UN Security Reform Push by African Union

Uganda today hosts the ministers of foreign affairs of the ten countries which comprise the AU Committee of 10 (C-10). The African Union Committee of 10Heads of State and Government is a special taskforce instituted by the Africa-wide organisation to pave way for the Continent to be represented on a permanent basis at the United Nations Security Council. The two-day event is one of nine such meetings since the institution of the C-10. It ends tomorrow,20th January, 2022.  

The AU Committee of Ten (C-10) is made up of the Heads of State and Government of Senegal, Uganda, Algeria, Kenya, Zambia, Sierra Leone, the Republic of Congo, Libya, Namibia and Equatorial Guinea.
