The show will also consist of Bangladeshi agencies and private sector actors sharing their  success stories in many sectors. Among these will be lessons in innovations in her agricultural sector which have made the country food secure. Also pertinent to Uganda will be lessons drawn from the successful cotton, textile and apparel industry, and from the twinning of micro-finance with the growth and nurturing of the rural economy. There are many other government-sponsored or supported initiatives which have helped this country make big strides in its drive towards socio-economic transformation and poverty-reduction.

The impending road show is built on the warm bilateral relations which Uganda enjoys with Bangladesh. The two countries relations are further enhanced by their concurrent membership of the United Nations, the Commonwealth as well as the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
