In accordance with its mandate under rule 187(2)(k) of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Uganda, the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs undertook an oversight visit to Uganda High Commission, New Delhi from 4^th to 9^th November 2024

The delegation was led by Hon. Catherine Lamwaka (Chairperson) and included Hon. Milton Kalulu Muwama, Hon. Stephen Bakubalwayo Kisa, Hon. Stephen Sserubula and Lt. Gen. James Mugira.

The objective of the visit was to assess the status of bilateral relations between Uganda and India, delivery of Protocol and Consular services at the Mission, the status of Ugandan diaspora in India and the High Commission's contribution to Economic and Commercial Diplomacy.
