Maj. (Rtd) Awich Pollar Okwir, Director External Affairs in the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Party paid a courtesy call on the High Commission on 5th May 2024.
The Director was in New Delhi at the invitation of the BJP, the ruling party in India.

Indian business delegation completes successful visit to Uganda.
A 30-member delegation led by Mr. Dammu Ravi, Secretary for Economic Relations in the Ministry of External Affairs and comprising leading Indian companies from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) visited Uganda from 8th – 9th April 2024.

Hon. Kiryowa Kiwanuka, Attorney General of the Republic of Uganda paid a courtesy call on the High Commissioner, H.E Prof. Joyce Kakuramatsi Kikafunda on 6th February 2024 at Uganda High Commission offices in Vasant Vihar, New Delhi.
After a lapse of nearly two years, including a Bubble Arrangement which it never used, Uganda Airlines has revived interest in flying the Entebbe-Mumbai-Mumbai-Entebbe route. Ms Regina Tibasima, the Commercial Affairs Manager, was in Mumbai in mid-February to meet Indian civil aviation officials at State and National level to sort out details of operational procedures.
Concluding her assignment by a follow-up visit to the States of Telangana and Tamil Nadu in south-eastern India, Ambassador Grace Akello has signed a number of Letters of Intent with prospective investors. This region had in September 2021 hosted a Ugandan Road Show in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, in which Ugandan cabinet ministers had made presentations on the target growth sectors of agriculture and agriculture-led industrialisation, tourism, mining and IT.
Uganda yearned to reap from the field of his passionate nationalism, his dedication to duty, from the razor-sharp legal brain and outlook. Missed too will be the charm of his oratory as well as his love of Acholi dance.
The peace and security situation prevailing in Uganda makes the country a safe tourist destination. This was stated by Mr.
